A one-of-a-kind winter wonderland experience that you cannot miss. During the ascension, floor-to-ceiling LED technology immerses visitors in a snow covered time-lapse recreation of the development of New York City’s skyline. The SkyPod elevator travels to Floor 102 in 47 seconds, at a speed of about 23 miles per hour. It wouldn’t be a winter wonderland without snow! There’s nothing more thrilling than a winter scene while riding high above NYC in the fastest elevators in the Western Hemisphere. Here, guests wander a winding trail through an underground winter grotto, with sparkling crystals and winter icicles. Scenes of famous landmarks are featured on the screens including the Great Wall of China, Sydney, Australia, Big Ben in London, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia.Īfter the World of Wonders comes another One World Trade stunner- Glacier Cave. Its here in this multi-media experience where guests join Ollie the Owl as he takes flight across the world. Through the gorgeous hallway is 144 individual screens that leads you to the One World Observatory’s famous elevators. Guests enter the lobby and meet Ollie as he takes flight, navigating through snowy animations of the world’s most popular destinations, called One World of Wonders. Ollie, an animated friend, helps to bring visitors though the lobby and up to the observatory through a multi-media experience. Top off the experience with a visit to Old St. Experiences include “One World of Wonders,” a multi-media experience where guests join Winter ONEderland mascot Ollie the Owl as he takes flight, a Glacier Cave for guests to wander through, a snowy elevator ride, and a giant snow globe showcasing New York City’s famous skyline. Winter ONEderland at One World Observatory will run continuously through the holiday season, ending on January 7th.
